展覧会にあわせて刊行された本書は、1981年から1982年にかけてロバート・ハイネケンが制作した「Lessons in Posing Subjects」シリーズを初めて再現したものだ。ポラロイドのようなインスタント写真が持つリアリティの効果を利用し、ハイネケンは通販カタログの中で見つけた画像を再コンテキスト化し、アイロニックな文章を添えている。
