本書は、著名な建築家ピエール・シャポ（1927 - 1987）の初の回顧展に合わせて刊行された。ピエール・シャポの没後30周年を記念して、Magen H Galleryは11月2日、ニューヨークのギャラリースペース54 East 11th Streetにてピエール・シャポの展覧会を開催する。この展覧会は、ピエール・シャポのデザインに焦点をあてた初の出版物とともに開催される。
