Ellsworth Kelly（エルスワース・ケリー）は1923年生まれのアメリカの画家／彫刻家であり、線や円・面といったシンプルなフォームを白黒や原色で彩るミニマルな作品で知られる。2012年、ケリーはフランス・パリのLouis Vuitton Foundationのために、虹色のカーテンと５つの原色の作品を制作した。本書はこれらの作品群が、ケリーへのインタビューとあわせて収録された一冊である。
