写真家、荒木経惟の作品集。写真を用いて日記を綴る手法は、晩年荒木のスタイルの一つであり、本書もその一つ。パリのカルティエ現代美術財団が2014年に財団創設30周年を記念して荒木経惟に写真日記のプロジェクトを打診し、2014年3月24日から2014年の5月19日までの６週間の間に撮影された「ダイアリー」である。毎週財団のホームページ上にアップされた作品をカルティエ財団が本としてまとめた。
